What if you don’t have the sensor I’m looking for?
If you cannot find the specific Sensor, Transducer or Control Wireless Smart Box you’re looking for, please contact us. Our Engineers prefer to add and prioritise for clients immediate requirements.
There are Thousands of Sensors/Transducers/Control functionality; this is impossible!
Smart Box is compatible with nearly every sensor/transducer/control functionality. Our Engineers are continuously adding Sensors on a weekly basis to our product range.
Everybody and Anybody is not possible, equipment like this is too complicated.
No, Smart Box is Plug and Play, no engineering required for setup just place and provide power. It’s developed for Home, Industrial, Scientific and Commercial use.
If Installation is ‘Childs Play’, what about the Engineers?
Qualified engineers focus their time on building these systems, monitoring, analysis and implementing solutions, improvements & enhancing productivity whilst making savings and streamlining the operation/business.
Scientific requires good sensors and communication.

What about the Smart Box Sensor Certification and Standards?
We have Smart Box Sensors for general monitoring (indicative/non-certified) and Smart Box Sensors for certified monitoring. For general monitoring application go straight to the Smart Box shop. For certifications please contact us, that way we can make sure you get the right certified Smart Box Sensor. Please see our section on standards.
Industrial sector requires sophisticated systems with multiple sensors?
Smart Box uses low Powered wireless industrial communication called ZigBee. ZigBee allows up to 64,000 devices to be connected into one system. Please see communications .
What about Costs?
Very cost effective, basic system monitoring: Temperature & Humidity and Co-ordinator starts from £240 and then add a Google Nexus Tablet £200 or cheaper £120 approved tablet. The cost of the sensor has the greatest influence on the Smart Box Price. Save time and money in the setup. Please see cost .
Why does the Temperature & Humidity Smart Box Sensor seem expensive compared to dedicated systems?
The Smart Box has some unique features that other systems don’t have. Two of the key features are Plug & Play combined with ability to have any sensor allowing you to build it how you like and comparing alterative systems against all the Smart Box features makes the Smart Box very cost effective. What about Upgrading or adding a new monitoring requirements?
Easy, just order a new Smart Box Sensor making sure it meets for monitoring requirements. Our system uses self healing communications, just power on and it will auto add to your network.
Do the Smart Box networks interfere with each other?
No, two or more Smart Box Networks can operate in the same vicinity. Smart Boxes are designed not to interfere with each other. The ZigBee Wireless Industrial communications is suitable for industrial environments and designed to operate with interference like electrical substations.
Can we mix and swap smart Boxes on different networks?
No. We want to keep the Smart Box System very easy to use and install; the Smart Box will only connect to the network allocated to it.
